The Workplace Counsellor ensures first line counselling services to Conectys staff, offering integrative coping solutions with challenges potentially negatively impacting them in relation to their work context and challenges.

Within your role, you will:

  • Conduct Connect sessions that provide a sounding board for employees to safely talk about issues troubling them in correlation with their professional life and assist them with life coaching solutions in order to better cope with their work-impacting challenges
  • Serve as liaison with HR department to consolidate risk, needs, and aspirations information supporting the employees’, teams’, managers’, and business’s needs
  • Facilitate support group activities and other wellbeing activities
  • Support implementation of organizational change at individual, group, and team levels

What will make you successful in the role:

  • A C1 level of English (both written & spoken)
  • BA in Psychology or other similar fields
  • At least 1-year experience as trainer/coach/therapist
  • Experience in crisis intervention would be an asset
  • Pedagogy or trainer certification would be beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of employment legislation would be an asset
  • Willingness to work in shifts
